After cold, windy and wet winter in the Cape, spring is an exciting time to witness the beautiful colours of the Cape Floral Kingdom... rust and bright yellow pincushions; pale yellow and dusty pink flowers.
What a feast for the eye to see the sunbirds frolicking amongst pincushions and proteas, all in anticipation of warmer summer months to come.
We took great joy in embroidering table runners, serviettes, placemats, hand towels and trinket bags to celebrate the infinite marvels of Nature.
